The Dominican Sisters of Houston is a Catholic community of women whose mission is "to publicly commit ourselves to study and address the crucial justice issues of our times." The sisters' active ministries include teaching and school administration, prayer, campus ministry, parish ministry and others.

This stained glass window is located in the chapel of St. Dominic Villa on the motherhouse grounds.  The design depicts followers of Saint Dominic; both men and women, through the centuries.  Those with facial features represent followers canonized by the Church while the remainder repesent all Dominicans, religious and laity, preachers of Truth, who have entered and partnered in the mission.

Annual Fund

Many thanks to all who have given to our 2011-2012 Partners in Mission Annual Fund Campaign.  As of the start of this New Year, Annual Fund gifts total over $250,000 with 860 donors contributing!  We are well on our way to reaching our goal of $325,000. Gifts to the Annual Fund support the sisters' active ministries, help maintain their aging facilities, and care for the retired sisters who have lived their lives in service to others.  Please consider making your gift our Annual Fund.  Every gift makes a difference and ensures the success of our mission.  Thank you for supporting the Dominican Sisters of Houston.  May God bless you, heal you and fill you with light.
