Our stakeholders continue to show their deep affection for the mission and minstry of the Dominican Sisters of Houston. We look forward to your continued support and partnership. Giving opportunities are available in a variety of methods outlined below.

Annual Fund

Each year, the Dominican Sisters of Houston provide the community with the opportunity to show their support through a donation to the sisters' Annual Fund, the primary means of charitable support for the congregation. The Annual Fund assists in furthering the mission and providing support of the sisters.

The Annual Report includes all donors to the Annual Fund, the Guatemalan Mission, the retired sisters' fund and all who have requested honors and memorials from August 1 to July 31. This report is located in The Good News Fall/Winter edition.

Planned Giving

Giving to the Dominican Sisters of Houston through wills, insurance policies and trusts allows you to continue to offer support to the sisters as well as receive tax benefits. Please consult how best to structure your planned charitable giving. Sharing your plans with us also helps the sisters in planning for the future. Honors and Memorials

A donor may make a gift in memory of or in honor of someone. An acknowledgement card will be sent to the person being honored or to the family or person you request be informed for a memorial. Please provide the following information:

• Name of the person you are recognizing
• Type of recognition (honor or memorial)
• Name and address of person to receive acknowledgement of the honor/memorial (the amount of the gift is not disclosed)

Acknowledgement of your gift to the Dominican Sisters of Houston will be sent to you as well.

Gift envelopes, like the one in The Good News, make your gift-giving easier. These pre-addressed envelopes include space for honor/memorial information and gift designation. Please contact the office at 713-440-3710 or mmarx@domhou.org to receive gift envelopes by mail or stop by the Administration Building reception desk.
